Support

How to contact us

Email: support@nauqan.com. Phone and WhatsApp: +7 777 616 84 44, +7 705 821 36 63.

Requests are handled on business days from 09:00 to 18:00 Astana time. We usually reply within two business days.

What to include in your request

  • what happened and what result you expected;
  • the section or screen of the app where it happened;
  • phone model, operating system version and app version;
  • a screenshot, if it contains nothing you prefer not to share.

Support for pilot participants

Paid pilot participants have a support chat and weekly assistance from the founding team. An industry expert joins a case at the agronomist’s request.

Discrepancies in reference data

If product information in Nauqan differs from the State Register or the product label, tell us the product name and the source page referenced by the app. Such requests are handled with priority.

App availability

Nauqan is in development. The pilot runs on Android; an iPhone version is planned for the next stage. Links to the app pages on Google Play and the App Store will be published on this website after release.

Personal data

Data processing is described in the Privacy policy. To delete your account and data, follow the instructions on the Account and data deletion page.

Scope of consultations

Support does not issue conclusions on how a specific field should be treated: that decision is made by the agronomist who inspected the crop. We help with using the app, checking a regulation against its source and explaining calculations.

Privacy policy

1. General provisions

This Policy describes how “Aziatskiy Informatsionnyy Tsentr” LLP and “ZhAS GLOBAL” LLP (jointly the “Operator”, “we”) collect, use, store and protect the personal data of users of the nauqan.com website and the Nauqan mobile app (the “Services”).

The Policy follows the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan “On Personal Data and Their Protection” and the requirements of Google Play and the App Store.

The Nauqan app is in development. This Policy covers data processing on the website and in the app, including the functions planned for the paid pilot. Each app version processes data only to the extent of its functions. Before a version with new types of processing is released, this Policy is updated and the app asks for consent where required.

2. Data we process

Pilot application submitted through the website:

  • first and last name;
  • phone or WhatsApp number;
  • farm or company name, region and district;
  • role on the farm;
  • farm area and sunflower area;
  • description of tasks, application language, date and time of submission.

Mobile app:

  • account: name, phone number or email address, role, farm;
  • field data: name, area, boundaries or coordinates, crop, hybrid, sowing and work dates;
  • field observations: plant photos, comments, answers to clarifying questions, diagnostic and follow-up inspection results;
  • operations: treatment plans, products and rates applied, weather conditions, crop protection log entries;
  • technical data: device model, operating system and app version, crash information.

The website does not use cookies for analytics or advertising and contains no third-party counters. The hosting provider keeps technical access logs (IP address, request time, page address, browser information) needed to operate and secure the website.

3. App permissions

  • Camera and photo library — to take or select a photo of a plant. The system asks for access on first use.
  • Location — to set the position of a field. This is optional: the field point can be set manually.
  • Internet — for synchronisation, reference data updates and weather forecasts.

4. Purposes of processing

  • reviewing pilot applications and contacting applicants;
  • concluding and performing the pilot participation agreement;
  • providing app functions: field history, diagnostics, crop protection reference, planning and application log;
  • synchronising data between the farm users’ devices and the farm manager’s web workspace;
  • user support and troubleshooting;
  • improving diagnostics using anonymised cases (section 6);
  • complying with the laws of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

5. Diagnostics and weather forecast

Photo recognition is performed by a model on the device. For weather forecasts, field coordinates without user identifiers are sent to the Open-Meteo service. Photos and records are sent to the server only for functions that require storage outside the device: synchronisation, field history and the farm log.

6. Anonymised data for improving diagnostics

Diagnostics are improved using cases confirmed by an agronomist and completed with a follow-up inspection result. Before use, information that could identify the user or the farm is removed, including coordinates in photo metadata. Users may opt out of such use in the app settings or by contacting support.

7. Legal grounds

Data are processed with the consent of the data subject, to conclude and perform an agreement, and to meet obligations under the laws of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The consent text is available on the Consent to personal data processing page.

8. Storage and transfer

Personal data are stored in a database located in the Republic of Kazakhstan.

To review an application promptly, its content is sent to the Operator’s staff by email and via Telegram. The servers of these services may be located outside the Republic of Kazakhstan; such cross-border transfer takes place with the applicant’s consent.

To run the Services we use: the hosting provider of the website and servers, an email service, Telegram (application notifications), Open-Meteo (weather forecasts), Google Play and the App Store (app distribution). They receive only the data needed for their function.

We do not sell personal data, do not share it for advertising and do not use advertising identifiers.

9. Retention periods

  • pilot applications — until the end of the pilot and for one year after it, or until consent is withdrawn;
  • account and farm data — while the account is active; after a deletion request — no more than 30 days, except for information that must be kept by law (for example, payment documents);
  • technical logs — up to 12 months;
  • anonymised cases for improving diagnostics — without time limit, as they do not identify the user.

10. Data protection

Data transfer between the app, the website and the server is encrypted (HTTPS). Only staff who need access to perform their duties can access the data. One farm’s data are not available to other farms.

11. Your rights

Under the laws of the Republic of Kazakhstan you have the right to:

  • know whether the Operator processes your personal data and receive information about the processing;
  • request correction and completion of your data;
  • request blocking and deletion of your data — see Account and data deletion;
  • withdraw consent to processing where this does not contradict the law;
  • appeal against the Operator’s actions to the authorised personal data protection body or to a court.

Send requests to support@nauqan.com. We reply within the time limits set by the laws of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

12. Age restrictions

The Services are intended for agricultural professionals and are not intended for persons under 18. We do not knowingly collect children’s data.

13. Changes to this Policy

A new version is published on this page with its date. App users are notified of material changes in the app.

Terms of use

1. General provisions

These Terms govern the use of the nauqan.com website and the Nauqan mobile app (the “Services”) provided by “Aziatskiy Informatsionnyy Tsentr” LLP and “ZhAS GLOBAL” LLP (jointly “we”). By using the Services you accept these Terms. If you do not agree with them, do not use the Services.

The Services are intended for professional use by agronomists, managers and specialists of agricultural enterprises. Users must be at least 18 years old.

2. Product status

Nauqan is in development. Prototype and paid pilot functions differ; the current status is shown on the website home page. Participation in the paid pilot is governed by the Paid pilot participation terms.

3. Right of use

We grant a non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable right to use the app in the user’s business activities within the functions of its version and the participation terms.

You may not:

  • resell or distribute the app or its reference data;
  • copy the app’s databases to build your own service;
  • circumvent technical restrictions or interfere with the Services;
  • use the Nauqan name and logo in a way that suggests we endorse another product or recommendation.

4. Account

Where a function requires an account, the user provides accurate information and keeps access secure. The farm manager decides which staff members get access to the farm’s data.

5. Reference data

Pesticide application regulations are taken from official documents of the Republic of Kazakhstan with the source indicated. Rights to official documents and manufacturers’ materials belong to their owners. The app is not an official copy of the State Register.

6. User data

Farm data belong to the farm. We process them in accordance with the Privacy policy and use them to provide the Services and, in anonymised form, to improve diagnostics.

7. Agronomic decisions

Nauqan is a reference and analytical tool. The decision to apply crop protection products is made by the agronomist or another responsible farm specialist. See Limitations of responsibility, which forms part of these Terms.

8. Updates and availability

We may update the Services, change or remove functions and update reference data. We aim to keep the Services available but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. Weather forecasts are provided by a third-party service.

9. Liability

The Services are provided “as is”. To the extent permitted by the laws of the Republic of Kazakhstan, we are not liable for crop loss, crop damage, damage to third parties or the environment, penalties imposed by supervisory authorities, lost profits or other consequences of decisions made using the Services.

10. Intellectual property

The interface, texts, logo, software code and data structures prepared by us belong to us and are protected by the laws of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

11. Termination

Users may stop using the Services at any time and request data deletion (Account and data deletion). We may restrict access if these Terms are breached.

12. Changes to the Terms

A new version is published on this page with its date. Continued use of the Services after publication means acceptance of the new version.

13. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Disputes are settled by negotiation and, failing agreement, by a court at the Operator’s location unless the law provides otherwise.

14. Contacts

Limitations of responsibility

Reference nature of information

Nauqan shows information from official and published sources, photo analysis results and calculations based on weather forecasts. The final diagnostic result and the parameters of a field operation are confirmed by the agronomist who inspected the crop.

Check the label and the register

Before every treatment, check against the product label and the current edition of the State Register:

  • product and spray solution rates;
  • crop and target pest;
  • crop growth stage and number of treatments;
  • pre-harvest interval and re-entry periods for people and machinery;
  • restrictions on buffer zones, wind speed and bee activity;
  • hybrid tolerance requirements, for example for imidazolinone herbicides.

The product label and the current edition of the register take precedence over information in the app.

Photo diagnostics

A recognition result is a reason to inspect the crop, not a conclusion. Similar symptoms can be caused by diseases, pests, nutrient disorders, herbicide injury and drought. When confidence is insufficient, the app reports “Insufficient data” and suggests the next way to check, including laboratory analysis.

Weather calculations

Growth stages, the spraying window and irrigation advice are calculated from forecasts and average dates. A forecast may not come true; field conditions at the time of treatment are assessed by the specialist on site.

Tank mixes

The app does not conclude whether products may be mixed. Manufacturers’ information is shown with its source. A small-volume compatibility test is required before preparing a spray solution.

Legal compliance

The farm and the person deciding on a treatment are responsible for complying with the laws of the Republic of Kazakhstan on plant protection, pesticide handling rules, occupational safety and sanitary requirements.

Limits of liability

To the extent permitted by the laws of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Operator is not liable for crop loss, crop damage, damage to third parties, the environment or bees, penalties imposed by supervisory authorities or other consequences of decisions made using the app.

Report a discrepancy between the app and a source to support@nauqan.com, stating the product and the source page.

Consent to personal data processing

Subject of consent

By submitting an application on nauqan.com, registering in the Nauqan app or otherwise providing my personal data, I freely, of my own will and in my own interest, consent to “Aziatskiy Informatsionnyy Tsentr” LLP and “ZhAS GLOBAL” LLP (jointly the “Operator”; details are given in the Privacy policy) collecting and processing my personal data on the terms below, in accordance with the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan “On Personal Data and Their Protection”.

Data covered

  • first and last name;
  • phone or WhatsApp number, email address;
  • farm or company name, region, district, role on the farm;
  • farm and crop areas, information about tasks;
  • data entered in the app: fields, observations, photos, information about operations.

Purposes

  • reviewing my application and contacting me about the pilot;
  • concluding and performing the pilot participation agreement;
  • providing app functions and user support;
  • improving diagnostics using anonymised data.

Processing operations

Collection, recording, systematisation, accumulation, storage, clarification (updating, changing), use, transfer to the parties listed in the Privacy policy, anonymisation, blocking, deletion and destruction — with or without automation.

Cross-border transfer

I agree that the content of my application is sent to the Operator’s staff by email and via Telegram, including through servers located outside the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Validity and withdrawal

This consent is valid until the purposes of processing are achieved or until it is withdrawn. Consent can be withdrawn by writing to support@nauqan.com. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before it and does not apply to data that must be kept by law.

Confirmation

I confirm that I am at least 18 years old, that the information I provided is accurate, and that I have read the Privacy policy.

Account and data deletion

About this page

This page explains how to delete a Nauqan app account (developers: “Aziatskiy Informatsionnyy Tsentr” LLP and “ZhAS GLOBAL” LLP) and the related data, as well as data submitted through the nauqan.com website.

How to submit a request

  • In the app: Profile → Delete account. Available in app versions with accounts.
  • By email: write to support@nauqan.com with the subject “Data deletion” from the address, or stating the phone number, linked to the account or application.
  • By phone or WhatsApp: +7 777 616 84 44, +7 705 821 36 63. After contacting us we will ask you to confirm the request in writing.

We may ask you to confirm that the request comes from the account owner.

What is deleted

  • account and profile;
